Hello, my name is Cynthia Diwar

I am so happy you're stopping by! I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Currently, I live in a beautiful city -- Vancouver with my hubby, Mitch. I enjoy coffee, books, and watching movies.... Oh and sushi!!!

This blog is created for you. It offers a safe space to inspire women who want to grow their Christian-faith and live their purposeful life for Jesus through prayer, trust, and accountability.

While our world is full of different voices and distractions, we cannot help but to compare and focus on the wrong things. But Hebrews:12:2-3 calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus… that you will not grow weary and lose heart. It is easier said than done but I do believe by the power of the Holy Spirit, we can and will be transformed and live our lives to the fullness.

1. Dig into the Word of God

The Word of God is our daily bread and key for our spiritual growth. Without it, we are doomed to listen to the voice of the enemy rather than His Truth. The word of God is alive and active (Hebrews 4). And it is a relevant story about God for all of us today! My prayer is that we will be a group of women who desire to know God more by reading his Word, praying intentionally and soaking in His presence every single day.

2.  Live for His Glory

I don't mean to sound cheesy but seriously though, I believe being a Christian is far more than just reading the Bible and attending Church. While these things are good and valuable, we are also called to be imitators of God (Ephesians 5:1). One of my favorite verses from the Bible is Matthew 20:20-28 "The son of God did not come to be served but to serve".  What a humble God we have and oh how it should humble us, too.

3. Share the Gospel

I want to encourage you to be bold, intentional and loving to those around you. How? By sharing the love of God. Tell them who Jesus is and how He has impacted your life and how He can do the same to theirs. I wanna be completely honest and real for a moment -- I struggle with this all the time.  But God is able and He can move mountains.

2 Corinthians 5:20

Isn't it comforting and faith-building to know that our existence has a deeper meaning and greater purpose? I know, it is so crazy to think our all-powerful God would want to "work" together with us for His glory. What an honor!

I hope this gives you a better idea about who I am and what this blog is about. Feel free to reach out to me!
