I remember when I was dying to work from home. When I still had my full-time corporate job, I regularly said to myself that I would do anything and everything to be able to work from my couch, in my PJs, with Gilmore Girls playing in the background. (Insert PRAISE HANDS right here!!) My first […]
What a crazy season it’s been! Can you believe we’re already halfway through the year? I knew 2019 would be a year of breakthroughs and changes, but it’s funny how I thought it’d be a long, slow process. Boy, was I wrong! After launching my new brand in March, I was fully booked for a […]
Every January, my church kicks off the new year with a week of prayer and fasting. This year, my husband and I decided to fast from entertainment (including music, books, TV, podcasts, etc.) and social media.

I felt particularly grateful after our dinner last night, and I couldn’t help but want to express my gratitude for these ladies.
I am a doer, and one of my superpowers is execution. As a matter of fact, that’s what I do for a living. I am a full-time administrative assistant for six partners in a busy accounting firm. I do a little bit of everything, from client onboarding to marketing to handling account receivable to dealing with the CRA on a daily basis.
2017 has been a great year with some tough challenges. I have noticed something over the last 3 years. The more I prioritize my time and life for GOD the more energy I have regardless of the circumstances. 2017 had a lot of challenges but the hope and power I had in the middle of problems were the strongest I’ve experienced. They were still tough, but I had hope for the majority of it.
6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! WOOHOO! A couple minutes after Mitch got down his knee and popped the question. I was so surprised and gladly said YES! A mixture of emotions came all at once and I couldn’t think properly but I knew 2017 was gonna to be a great year!
