The money is in the list. You’ve probably heard this saying more than once. I didn’t understand the importance of building an email list and nurturing my leads when I first started my business. Setting up a newsletter sign-up form on my website was all I did to “build” my list. For the last year […]
You should all know by now that I am a huge fan of working smarter instead of harder. I’m sure you are too!!! However, not everyone knows how to achieve that. While outsourcing is one of the most obvious solutions if you want more freedom and balance in your life, it can be costly–and I […]
Welcome back to the Freedom 101 series! Today we are going to talk about one of the things most people struggle with: email management. According to Harvard Business Review, an average professional spends 28% of workday reading and answering emails. That is equivalent to 2.6 hours per day!! Whaaattt???!! When we own a […]
I remember when I was dying to work from home. When I still had my full-time corporate job, I regularly said to myself that I would do anything and everything to be able to work from my couch, in my PJs, with Gilmore Girls playing in the background. (Insert PRAISE HANDS right here!!) My first […]
A few months ago, Mitch and I took a two-week-long vacation. During our trip, God kept revealing one thing to me over and over again: it’s time to let go and trust me! I didn’t take this very seriously until I got back home and started to ask God what He wanted me to […]
Today we are talking about a topic that a lot of entrepreneurs struggle with: talking about our business with confidence. I get it. Hiring the right person is a process that not only involves evaluating the qualities of your candidates but also determining […]
At the beginning of 2019, I shared why I chose the word ‘faithfulness’ to be my word of the year. As corny as it may sound, I want 2019 to be a year of God that is centred to His will. This has involved my dreamed of having a business that speaks God’s truth and holds values of His Kingdom. However, at the beginning of the year my vision still felt a little blurry and out of place, even though I had some idea for what I wanted my brand to look like. I then had the idea of hiring a designer to do a complete rebrand for my business, and that’s when Brianne of Design by Brianne came into the picture.
As you may know, I have a desire to start a small business. In the past, I had no idea what it was going to look like. Everything seemed busy and confusing, and I really wanted to do it right. After spending lots of time praying and talking to my friends and family about it, I started to get the idea of building a faith-based business (I will explain what that means later).
